Lan Cymru is a Local Area Network gaming event run by the
Swansea University LAN Society. The society is a collection of like-minded gamers,
who are fed up with sitting in rooms playing computer games by themselves. Computer
games, like many other activities and sports, are most fun in groups. A LAN
party is simply an extension of this idea.
